Some of you may already be aware of how Sony put themselves above and ahead of the competition at e3 by announcing they were going to allow customers to play used games on the PS4 without many barriers, and also allow for gaming without having to be always-online as with the Xbox One, but it’s interesting to watch these interviews from the three “suits” of their respective companies. How they handled the concerns or noise surrounding their consoles and successfully get across what they are trying to achieve.
I appreciate that Jack Tretton, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America spoke very honestly and openly about his thoughts on the industry and how they handled the whole issue on used games. Then watch Don Mattrick, President of the Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft sweat bullets as he tries to sell the Xbox to consumers. Finally, there’s Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America President, defending Nintendo’s relevancy by repeating the word “games” a billion times over.
